Square Enix has revealed a presentation at the Japanese D23 Expo for Kingdom Hearts III, which brought a brand new trailer.
The latest Pixar franchise to be introduced to the upcoming game is Monsters Inc, which you can check out in the video below. We also see the return of Vanitas and Marluxia, who have appeared in the series before:
Despite us being treated to a new trailer, there is still no word on when we are likely to see the game released, which is something that has eluded fans for a number of years now. We know from an announcement back in July 2017 that the highly anticipated title will be coming in 2018, though some seven months on we are still in the dark as to when it’s coming out, with the only piece of information being that it will be out this year. Unless there’s some form of delay, of course.
What we do know is that Kingdom Hearts III will release on PS4 and Xbox One. There had been questions of it releasing on Xbox One after a listing was taken down by an online retailer, though this has been confirmed as a mistake, and will be coming to the Microsoft home console after all.
