Kingdom Hearts III Gets New Trailer
Kingdom Hearts III is without a doubt going to be one of the biggest games of 2019, and given that it releases in January of next year, it’ll be one of the first big games out. As such, Square Enix is slowly but surely revealing more trailers and information about the game via updates and trailers. And speaking of trailers, a new one has just been shown off, and it reveals some new looks at characters and worlds that will be found in the game.
The trailer, as noted, focuses on many worlds, some of which have only been lightly shown. But one of the big focuses is on the world of Big Hero 6. This is the only Marvel property that we know will be in the game itself, and it faithfully brings in all the characters from the hit movie including Hiro and Bayomax. You also get to see the rest of Big Hero 6 in action, as well as looks at how the Heartless are going to look in the game.
Other looks in the trailer show off Rapunzel’s world, and the first look at Flynn, we get to see Monster’s Inc, where the team is stopped by villain Randall, and we even get another look at the Toy Story world where Xehanort arrives to force Sora into battle.
What might be the most interesting aspect though is the ending, where a masked individual proclaimed that only after Sora is broken down by all the battles that he has to face will the key to Kingdom Hearts be found. Signaling that there are many “wheels within wheels” in this plan of theirs.
Despite the trailer, fans are no doubt going to be a little sad that the game is still four months away. But with the Tokyo Game Show about to start soon, we could get more insights to Kingdom Hearts III then.
