Fortnite has been very busy as of late. They recently brought back the 50v50 mode that started off their cycle of rotating modes. They also just launched season 04 of the games content, which changed the map, added a new item that allows the use of basic superpowers, and more. Finally, one of the biggest additions to the game recently was that a surprise mode was added that brought Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War into the game, complete with his Infinity Gauntlet. It was a big move, and fans loved it.
The question is, would Thanos himself love it? No, we don’t speak of the actual comic book character (who would most certainly not dance, for the record), but rather, Josh Brolin. Brolin voiced and motion-captured Thanos for Avengers: Infinity War, and so IGN thought it would be funny to have Brolin watch Thanos dancing. The results were hilarious.
First and foremost, Brolin didn’t know what the game was before seeing this:
“So I’ve been seeing this Fortnite thing everywhere. Fortnite, Thanos and all that, and I had no idea what anyone was talking about.”
Though he appreciated the moves, he was confused as to why Thanos was dancing. So the host explained it was because he killed a lot of people and was “celebrating” the victory, and Brolin sarcastically noted he didn’t like that.
He did wish though that he had done the mo-cap for the dancing
“I wish I had done the mocap for that, yeah. I would’ve done a GREAT dance move. I’m good at dancing, by the way. I spin around on my back with my legs flying up in the air”
So there you go, though he was caught off guard, this is Thanos approved! Many are hoping for another major crossover to come to the title soon.
