Making video games is not an easy thing, but there are people out there with amazing creativity who would be great at it. For example, the brilliant man known as J.J. Abrams that is known for his work on the Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Super 8, and so on, decided that he wants to dabble in the process of video game creation. To be precise, the entire Bad Robot film studio is forming a game studio, and they even partnered up with one of the largest companies in the world, Tencent. Their plan is to make indie and also large-scale games for all platforms (consoles, mobile, and PC).
We found out in a Hollywood Reporter article that J.J. Abrams is really interested in video game development. In the interview Abrams said:
I’m a massive games fan, and increasingly envious of the amazing tools developers get to work with, and the worlds they get to play in. Now we are doubling down on our commitment to the space with a unique co-development approach to game making that allows us to focus on what we do best, and hopefully be a meaningful multiplier to our developer partners,”
We are all very excited to see what kind of game will spring from the mind of J.J. Abrams, who has already shown that he has what it takes to make something compelling and gripping.
