Everyone knows about the Witcher franchise by know. Inspired by a Polish novel series, it quickly become one of the best RPG franchises on the market, with the Witcher 3 being their most successful and praised title. Now, we also know that we’re supposed to get a Netflix Witcher series, and we may finally know when it’s coming. Lauren S. Hissrich tweeted about a lot of things, like the number of episodes that the Witcher series is going to have, when it may get released, and more.
If you still want more Geralt of Rivia after Witcher 3, then you’re going to need to wait quite a bit before you can get your hands on the Netflix Witcher series. Lauren said in her tweet that the release for the series could be 2020, but nothing is known for sure. We know for sure that it’s going to have 8 episodes, which is a shame as most of us expected to get a lot more episodes, but they said that they are focusing on quality and not quantity, which is understandable. If they manage to explore the wonderful and weird nature of the Witcher universe in 8 episodes, it will be great, if not, we’ll just have to wait until we get another Witcher game.
The shooting for the series is taking place in Eastern Europe, as there isn’t anyplace better than that for this kind of show.
