Is Bigfoot In Far Cry 5? Some Players Think So
Just like a movie or a TV show, a video game can be packed with Easter Eggs. Meaning, that there are little tidbits of items or references to other things in the world that people may recognize. Part of the fun of finding Easter Eggs is the hunt itself, and making you wonder what else could be out there. For Far Cry 5, some players have stumbled upon a possible clue that could mean that Bigfoot, yes, that Bigfoot, could be in the game.
So, how did this get started? Well, after a mission called “Gone Squatchin”, you will find yourself having access to a cabin that belonged to a Bigfoot hunter. And via that cabin is a map that many are convinced will somehow, someway, lead to Bigfoot. You can see the map below. Now, whether Bigfoot is in the game is still undetermined, however, many have tried, and some are hopeful.
Now, as for whether Ubisoft themselves would put Bigfoot into Far Cry 5 as the ultimate Easter Egg hunt, it’s honestly not much of a question. For this is the team that teamed up with Final Fantasy maker Square Enix to bring Chocobo’s into Assassin’s Creed Origins, and who worked together with Nintendo to create Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It’s definitely in them.
Now, as we mentioned, there hasn’t been a confirmed sighting, or at least, not one with visual evidence. And, as many have noted, the map shown in the pic above is not a map of Hope County. But, that hasn’t stopped people from searching anyway.
Even if Bigfoot isn’t in the game proper, there is still plenty for you to hunt within the game, including things actually native to Montana, including the mighty Wolverine. The animal, not the comic character.
But, should you find Bigfoot, let us know!
