Is Batman – The Enemy Within Coming To Nintendo Switch?
TellTale Games has been doing well with their episodic adaptations of various media. But one of the deepest, and arguably best of them has been their Batman series. While it started off a bit slow, the first season proved that TellTale isn’t afraid to screw with the mythology to tell a new story. And then, season brought us Batman – The Enemy Within, where our decisions truly did affect how the season went. And though it’s complete, it’s not out on Nintendo Switch…yet.
On the German ratings board for video games, a new listing for Batman – The Enemy Within has a new listing that seems to point to the Switch getting the second season. The first season is already in full on the Switch, and so with the second one complete, it’s not unreasonable to think that they’re compiling it up for the console and will announce it potentially soon. TellTale Games might be bringing even more of their titles to the Switch, but it’s unclear at present.
The second season continued to put the screws to both Bruce Wayne and Batman, making people decide which was the man, and which was the mask. There was also the rise of the Joker, which was determined entirely by your choices.
In fact, the final episode of Batman – The Enemy Within, “Same Stitch”, was truly unique in terms of TellTale Games titles. For this one had a truly branching storyline depending on what you decided to do with the man who would become Joker. Given the popularity of this decision, we expect TellTale to adapt this to their other titles, and to Season 03 of their Batman series should they get it made.
For now though, the game coming to Switch is just speculation. We’ll have to wait and see if we get confirmation soon.
