Injustice 2 Legendary Edition Is Out Now
Injustice 2 was a major hit when it released last year. It continued the franchise that was started with Injustice: Gods Among Us, and continued to show that the DC Comics universe could fit into the combat style of Mortal Kombat. NetherRealm Studios returned to helm the game, and dove even deeper into the DC Comics pantheon of heroes and villains to deliver a roster even more robust than the first one. And when the main game was complete, they added more via DLC. Now, the Injustice 2 Legendary Edition is here, and it brings everyone together.
A new trailer for the Legendary Edition shows off just what players can expect. What can you expect? Well, aside from the already massive main game, you will get 10 DLC characters. Darkseid, Starfire, Red Hood, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Black Manta, Hellboy, The Atom (Ryan Choi), Enchantress, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For those who recall, Darkseid was originally only a pre-order bonus for when the game came out, but he’s too good to be left out of the Legendary Edition.
The trailer also shows off the insanity that happens when you put characters with this much power together, you get an epic clash of Titans (gratitude to all who got that reference).
For those who haven’t played the game before, Injustice 2 Legendary Edition will take you to a DC Comics version of Earth where Superman went mad with power (after the death of Lois Lane) and tried to conquer the world. Batman stopped him, and now the world is in a state of rebuilding. But when the evil Brainiac come to try and take over the planet, enemies must become allies once more and team up with new heroes to try and save the world.
The Injustice 2 Legendary Edition is out now for Xbox One, PC and PS4
