For Honor introduced the next wave of Season 3 a few days ago, and one of the highlights of this phase is Tribute, a brand new mode that has been introduced to the game.
Thi snew mode offers a 4v4 setting that will see Knights, Vikings and Samurai heading onto the battlefield once more, as two teams go head-to-head to take control of three points across the map. These points are referred to as Offerings, and will serve as a capture-the-flag style of gameplay found in many other games. Players will be tasked with returning the Offerings back to their team’s respective shrines, with the team capturing all three emerging victorious.
The Ubisoft blog states: “While you might think you need to fully focus on speed, you’ll find out quickly that having a tank on your team can be key since they will play a good part of your defense strategy. Having someone who stays at home and can keep opponents away from your hard-earned Offering is a good thing.”
Credit to Ubisoft too, who continue to update For Honor with new content, despite the shaky start that the game suffered upon release. The new Tribute mode is available on the Cathedral, Canyon, Forest, Tower Ruin, Shipyard and Viking Village maps.
