For Honor Now Lets You Throw Snowballs As An Emote

While it’s true that developers seek to make grand changes to video games when they can, sometimes it’s the smaller updates that bring smiles to players faces. Take, for example, For Honor. This was a title that Ubisoft had a lot of high hopes for, and wanted to make special, and they did in many ways. It sold very well, and through its unique multiplayer experience, they kept players coming back, and that was before DLC and other such updates.

But now, they’re taking the other approach, having smaller, yet just as fun, updates to make players smile. For Ubisoft has now released a brand new emote for players. One that will bring a winter-themed joy to their hearts no doubt, as your hardened warrior…will begin throwing snowballs at other players during the winter event the Frost Wind Festival. If you don’t believe us, check out this video that shows off the emote in all of its glory.

So yeah, you can now have snowball fights in For Honor! How cool is that? (no pun intended.) Now, if you didn’t catch it, this isn’t a random update, it goes right along with the current winter event going on in the game called the Frost Wind Festival. This event is still on now, and will continue until January 4th. In this event, not only do the battlefields have a wintery touch to them, but there’s also a new mode called Ice Brawlers. This mode is a 1v1 match where two warriors have to fight over a thin layer of ice. Which for the record is very difficult.

There’s also some new gear, new weapons, and now, a new emote. The snowball fighting emote can be bought for 10,000 Steel. So, if you want to make your viking, knight, or samurai warrior break down into a wintery fit, go right ahead.
