Here’s When The Overwatch Summer Games End
In a repeat of last year’s event, the Overwatch Summer Games has been brought back for another year, offering fans the chance to relive last year’s activities, plus a whole load of extra content, including skins, victory poses, emotes, voice lines, highlight intros and sprays. It has also seen the return of Lucioball, which now has a new map and competitive mode. Those who missed out last year can also check out the skins that were available back in 2016’s event.
Things are a bit different this time round, particularly with Lucioball, which now rotates between Sydney and Rio stadiums, as well as the “boop” technique being taken out. That’s more or less it in terms of changes, with the formula still being two Lucio-only teams against each other in a 3v3 ball match.
This has been a rather long seasonal event compared to others, since the majority of other events tend to center around certain dates such as Christmas and Halloween. The Overwatch Summer Games event itself will end on August 29th, having ran since last week on August 8th. So if you haven’t done so already, you’ve still got just shy of two weeks to collect some beachwear and take in a game of Lucioball or two, casually or competitively.
Overwatch is now available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
