Ready to get spooked? Even though it’s really early for Halloween, Blizzard’s digital card game just got its next scary expansion, and that is Witchwood. As all Hearthstone expansions, it’s bringing new cards to the table, exciting new Keywords, and of course, crazy legendary cards that might just break the game. We are also getting a brand new single-player mode called the “Monster Hunt” which is similar to the Dungeon Run that the players loved in the Kobolds and Catacombs expansion, but that’s coming out two weeks from now.
This expansion also means the start of the Year of the Raven, which means that cards from certain previous expansions get rotated out. A new meta will be made, and certain crazy decks have already appeared on the game’s ranked system. While most players complained about the craziness of the “Cube Warlock” deck, we have a new challenger approaching, and that is the “Shudderwock Shaman” OTK deck. We won’t be getting into the details of this new crazy deck, but just keep an eye out for it on the ladder, and let us know just how powerful it is after you play against it.
But, to get back to the topic, those of you that still haven’t logged into the game, you should do some right now, as for a certain period of time, everyone who logs in gets 3 free Witchwood card packs, and a free Legendary from the new expansion!
