Has BioWare Prepared Anthem For The Public Demo?
The Anthem VIP Demo had some problems, and BioWare says that they will try to deal with any kind of issues when the public demo starts.
Quite a lot of bugs, that’s what the VIP Demo of Anthem had. Some people were disappointed, and by some, we mean many, since the servers also crashed during the first day of the demo. But, BioWare wanted to make sure that everyone knew that they would fix all the bugs for the public demo. Today is the 1st of February, so the Public Demo will start sooner or later. So, have they fixed all the bugs that were plaguing the VIP Demo? We don’t know, as they just said that they would work really hard to make sure everything proceeds as smothly as possible.
Of course, once everyone barges in, since this is a demo available to everyone and all that, we just want to see if the servers are going to survive. Last time they knew the maximum number of players that could play, and yet the servers crashed. Will that happen again? We will just have to wait and see. They said that they have systems in place to control entry rates, which means waiting for queues.
BioWare got a lot of feedback from the previous demo, so they probably fixed a lot of things. The version of Anthem that will release fully got even more fixes, which we will list below:
- Further performance Improvements
- Additional stability fixes
- Fixes to inscriptions showing up incorrectly
- Fixes to inscriptions from other Javelins being chosen
- Fixes to disappearing customization settings
- Fixes to XP gain behavior
- Audio improvements
- Improvements to PC controls, including flight and aiming
- A Social Hub: The Launch Bay
Let’s just hope that the game won’t be having anymore issues with infinite loading screens and things like that. BioWare would get slammed hard by the fans if the bugs from the previous demo persisted through this one.
Also, since it seems a lot of people asked this, all of the progression from the VIP demo is saved. All of it(Javelins, gear, weapons, customizations, and pilot level) will carry through to this demo. What do you say, will you be participating in the public demo?
