Two nail-biting tournaments have taken place for H1Z1: Just Survive at DreamHack Winter in Sweden, and the results are in after a weekend of action. One tournament featured teams of five, with another being battled out between solo players. The winners were awarded an overall prize pool of $250,000, with the results listed below.
The top teams and their prize money are as follows:
1. Impact Gaming: $50,000
2. Counter Logic Gaming: $35,000
3. Method: $20,000
4. Vitality: $17,000
5. WBG: $12,000
This wasn’t the total sum of the prize money either. In match one, Impact Gaming were awarded a $5,000 bonus for earning the most kills in the match. This prize money was also rewarded to Method in match two and Logic Gaming in match 3 for the same accolade.
Meanwhile, the results for the solo tournament and prize winnings are:
1. OliverGC (Method) : $30,000
2. siigN_: $17,000
3. MP (Mock-it Esports): $13,000
4. Zinko77: $9,000
5. Guezmerr (Skins Gambling): $7,000
As with the team tournament, there was also bonuses granted to those who participated in the solo tournament for earning the most kills. A $3,000 bonus was awarded to siigN in match one, and OliverGC picked up the bonuses for matches two and three.
