Halloween events are popping up all over the place, and the Guild Wars 2 one, called Shadow of the Mad King, is now live.
Mad King Thorn has returned to Guild Wars 2, and he brings presents. By presents, we mean spooky new content for this fantasy MMORPG. You have some events from last year, and some new ones as well. First things first, you want to go trick-or-treating. That’s the main selling point of Halloween. Anyway, the Mad King’s Labyrinth is the place you’re looking for. It has everything you need, confusing places and vicious monsters. Those of you that don’t like labyrinths and monsters can go and fight other players in the Lunatic Inquisition.
Oh, you say you don’t like fighting? Strange, what are you doing playing an MMORPG then? But, you’re in luck, as the Shadow of the Mad King event has many fun activities. Even nonviolent one, like the Mad King’s Clock Tower. You won’t be repairing clocks or anything like that. No, you will engage in jumping puzzles! Yes, puzzles and jumping, the best combination for a horror event. Just watch your step. If you somehow miss a jump you’re going to fall into the “rising tide of horror”, and you don’t want that.
