Grim Dawn is the spiritual successor to Titan Quest, one of the best action RPGs that were ever made. So, if you’re into that kind of thing, be sure to check both titles out. Now, let’s get down to business, and talk about the Shattered Realms game mode, which basically gives you infinite content. It seems like every action RPG today needs to have some sort of game mode where you get to beat up baddies infinitely. This is also a great way to farm a lot of loot, and there are various unique rewards in the Shattered Realms, as well as many tough enemies.
The Shattered Realms apparently are a mirror world of Cairn’s physical reality, but everything seems to be a bit broken. Whatever was a God to this place obviously left, and now everything is going downhill. Pretty standard for a fantasy world isn’t it? Also, as you kill the bosses and enemies in this game mode, you can pick your reward or decide to go on and seek more danger and better loot. The description of this game mode goes like this:
