The battle royale genre has seen a massive surge in popularity in recent times, and you may have noticed that more and more games are jumping on this particular band wagon. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of these titles, with a flurry of rumors hitting the web about the popular online shooter introducing its own battle royale mode.
As stated, there had already been many rumblings that Valve were going to implement their own take on the likes of PUBG and Fortnite into CS:GO, though it seems that in the meantime a German developer has beaten them to it. Developer Kinsi has created a server known as Go4TheKill, which is inspired by familiar battle royale experiences. The server is evidently inspired by the likes of the previously mentioned PUBG, Fortnite, as well as H1Z1: King of the Kill.
The map itself boasts a number of villages that have been divided up into quadrants around a mountain location. Here, you will find security zones, as well as access to weapons, health packages and plenty of useful items. Unlike games of a similar ilk however, this version only supports 20 players, as opposed to the usual 100 that we are used to seeing.
