Gears of War 4’s campaign is now available to be played at 60fps (frames per second) by selecting the game’s performance mode.
This has been showcased by Microsoft recently, and you can check out how it performs in the video below:
Both the campaign and horde mode can run up to 60fps on the Xbox One X, in comparison the Xbox One version, in which both are running at 30fps. There are two options for you to choose from as far as rendering is concerned, being visuals and performance. The performance option prioritizes frame-rates, helping it run at 60fps with 1080p resolution, as well as the enhanced graphical features from visuals settings. As for the visuals mode, this focuses on graphics, using Ultra Quality Textures to run the game at 4K resolution.
Gears of War 4 will be subject to a free update on November 7th, which will accompany the release of the Xbox One X, the brand new enhanced console from Microsoft. This update will bring all the resolution enhancements that have been detailed, and therefore bring a superior visual experience.
Gears of War 4 is now available on Xbox One, as well as Windows 10 via the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
