Galactic Civilization 3: Retribution, the final conclusion of this grand space strategies’ story arrives sooner than expected.
We covered Galactic Civilization 3: Retribution as soon as it was announced. It’s still pretty shocking that this expansion is bringing an end to the story that has been developing in the game. Still, this is a 4X space strategy, so even if the story finishes you have countless skirmishes to play where you just want to play around with the universe and the empire you’re using to make everyone submit to your will.
But, since the Drengin Empire underestimated the humans, which might result in their extinction, everyone is pretty excited to see how this story will end. Who will end up as the supreme ruler of the galaxy? We’re rooting for humans, as they’ve been an underdog for a while now, and who doesn’t like rooting for the underdog?
February 21st is when we get to play with new technologies, two exciting new civilizations, and a bunch of new stuff like the artifacts which give the one who finds them access to all kinds of new abilities. Don’t forget that hypergates are on their way, which makes moving across the galaxy in a blink of an eye an easy task.
Hypergates are going to open up all kinds of new options. Of course, the brand new tech tree is coming, and its purpose is to give more strategic depth to your research options. It’s safe to say that we are all awaiting the arrival of Galactic Civilizations 3: Retribution patiently.
