Further Proof That Fortnite Is Coming To Nintendo Switch Arrives
For a long time now, Fortnite has been dominating the Battle Royale genre market. The game is making money everywhere, has more views on Twitch and Youtube, and its updates continue to make gamers happy. But, there has been one request that hasn’t been filled out so far, and that’s coming to the Nintendo Switch. However, over the past few months, a bunch of teases seem to have been stating that it will be coming, and possibly soon. And a new twist in the tale has come to add more fuel to that fire.
On Twitter, user SciresM posted an update file for Fortnite. Nothing odd about that, right? Except, that this update file was found on the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo recently updated the eShop so that players could more easily find titles, and that’s clearly what allowed people like SciresM to find this update. Now, there is some question of legitimacy, but many are buying into it.
As noted before, this is just the latest in a long line of teases and leaks that seems to indicate that the Nintendo Switch is going to get Fortnite, and it’s a very believable thing to ponder in the first place.
After all, the game is on Android and iOS, which easily has less power than the Nintendo Switch, and since the mobile devices and Switch are portable, it’s not hard to imagine them taking the lessons from the phones and putting them into this console.
So, the question is now, when will it be revealed if it’s truly coming? Well, the obvious answer is at E3 2018, which is only a few days away. In fact, one of the leaks/teases of the game coming to Switch was from a proposed E3 reveal page that had games that were already confirmed for Switch.
