Furi developers The Game Bakers have announced that the hit action game will be releasing for Nintendo Switch next week, launching on January 11th.
The Nintendo Switch version of Furi has a complete set of features to accompany it, including the “One More Fight” DLC which offers a more expansive roster of bosses to go up against. Also, the challenging Furier difficulty mode will be making a console debut, as well as all the tweaks and improvements that had been previously brought in on other versions.
Furi released back in 2016 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and quickly earned critical acclaim status and was heavily praised for its high-octane dash-and-slash gameplay mechanics, in a game that offers up a boss-rush method. Players will be forced to come up against a series of challenging enemies, in what’s a high-action quest for freedom.
A number of well-known names are involved in and around Furi, including character designs from Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki, as well as an electric soundtrack featuring the likes of Carpenter Brut, Lorn and The Toxic Avenger.
Furi is now available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and will release with additional content on Nintendo Switch on January 11th.
