Snowy mountains and misty valleys await you in Conan Exiles, as The Frozen North update arrives on August 16th, coincidentally on the same day as the day that the survival game launches of the Xbox One Game Preview program.
The free expansion vastly expands Conan Exiles, featuring massive areas for you to traverse, hundreds of new items for you to craft, two new dungeons to explore, plus new monsters to scrap with. Since this is the Frozen North, you can also expect a change to the temperature system, as well as two new sets of building pieces, cooking, brewing, new religions and much more.
The map itself has expanded, offering a whole new landscape heading to the mountains in the north. You’ll be leaving the desert surroundings for green fields, forests, valleys and frozen lakes before reaching the snowy mountains. You’ll come across new ancient ruins, and discover the forgotten tribe of Cimmerians and the Heirs of the North Nordheimer settlements, plus so much more in the update.
