The latest Foxhole developer blog details the Amphibious Warfare update which is set to arrive later this week. The team are currently knuckling down on brand new content and features, as well as working on other aspects of the game that have been subject to community feedback.
The blog states: “We’re also going to be taking a close look at the many issues you guys have raised over the last few weeks. We know there are some bugs and exploits that have been deeply affecting the game for many of you. It’s our top priority to get these fixed.”
Two of the main features of the blog focused on Tank Traps and server fixes. The former is something that the developers have been waiting to implement for some time, and the Tank Traps are almost ready to be introduced as a buildable structure. They are going to be difficult to destroy using conventional weapons. And will be predominantly used to act like “barbed wire for vehicles.”
As for the servers, the team behind Foxhole are looking to retiring the current server queue system, and developing a new one from the start. Since the current system has so many issues, one including not removing players who have left, as well as long waiting times.
