When Forza Horizon 3 released on Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2016, visually it was one of the highlights of the system, running at 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second. This is only going to get better, as Microsoft has now released a patch for the Xbox One X version, which as expected brings a whole load of visual enhancements.
On the Xbox One X, Forza Horizon 3 runs at native 4K resolution and 30fps, which looks remarkably better than the original Xbox One version. This boost in resolution is a huge showcase of the power of the console, which houses 6 TFLOPs GPU that is put to good use in this situation.

The boost resolution is just one of the improvements being made, with a number of additional parameters also being added to show improvement. So if you own an Xbox One X, you are bound to enjoy the difference between the two versions. Players can also expect to find improvements on shadow resolutions, added LOD, car reflections, as well as texture detail and draw distances for objects and environments also being made.
Forza Horizon 3 is now available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
