Fortnite has been on quite the roll recently. The game has been steadily adding new content to their various modes, and the players have been responding by playing the game in bulk. Even going so far as to beat PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in terms of concurrent players. And now, it’s getting ready for its third season of special content. But, to get this content you need the Battle Pass, and so, Epic Games has broken down what you can expect in the new Battle Pass, as well as certain other things.
At its core, the Battle Pass allows you to get special loot in the game, and the more you play, the more chances you have to unlock things. As for what Season 03 will bring:
When you buy the Season 3 Battle Pass, you’ll instantly unlock a batch of great in-game rewards including the new Mission Specialist Outfit! As you play during the season, you unlock a series of reward tiers.
As Epic Games notes on their breakdown, Season 03 actually has a lot more loot for you to get. In fact, you can get an astounding 100 tiers worth of items. So that means you can get a LOT of loot if you play a lot during Season 03. The best part? It won’t take you any longer to get everything than it did in Season 02.
If you don’t have the Battle Pass, you can purchase it, and Epic Games is even offering a special bundle to help you ease into it.
Also, there will be Weekly Challenges:
Each week a new set of seven challenges unlock, replacing the Season 2 Battle Pass daily challenges. Weekly Challenges stack and can be completed any time before the season ends, so if you buy a pass mid-season you’ll still have access to all of the previous Weekly Challenges.
So, it looks like Fortnite is going to have a good third season, and it will start soon.
