Fortnite Has Over 100 Million Mobile Downloads
The king of battle royal shooters is back at it again and it impresses us once more. Fortnite on mobile has been very successful, as the game went past 100 million downloads in less than 5 months and that’s just from iOS users.
Is anyone even surprised anymore that this game continues to amaze everyone and break records constantly? We aren’t, as it’s very obvious that Epic Games noticed that this is their gold mine and so they are doing everything they can to keep it running. Wouldn’t you do the same thing if you had a game this successful? Fortnite on the mobile devices isn’t as precise and fun as it is on the PC and consoles, but that didn’t stop over 100 million people according to the apptopia from downloading it on their iOS devices.
Their statistics also say that these mobile Fortnite players are playing the game for about 21 minutes per session. The few that still play Pokemon GO spend less time than that in a game where you have to go out and walk to collect Pokemon.
After all this time, it amazes us that Fortnite is still this popular. We expected another battle royal to swoop down at any moment and steal all the attention away, kind of like what happened when Fortnite came and pushed PUBG out of the spotlight.
