Esports organization Fnatic has announced that they will be joining up with the Psyonix indie sensation Rocket League.
The team has acquired Nicolai “Maestro” Bang, Alexander “Sikii” Karelin, and Nicolai “Snaski” Andersen from the Leftovers roster, and will be making their way into the soccer-car hybrid, which was announced by the organization this morning.
As of this time, the team are undefeated in the second division of the Rocket League Championship Series. What’s more impressive, is that they have only dropped five games in the entire competition.
To commemorate the announcement of Fnatic’s introduction to the competition, they have launched a Fnatic skin mod for the base game that fans will be able to download and use. The mod offers car skins, as well as a skin for the ball, so you’ll be able to recognize a fellow Fnatic fan when playing online.
Fnatic have joined the likes of Paris Saint-Germain into Rocket League, who acquired Frontline to represent last month. It will be interesting to see how Fnatic compete in the game, given the team’s already established dominance so far. Either way, we shouldn’t have too long to wait to find out just how everything pans out.
Rocket League is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
