First Details On The Battle Royale Mode In Battlefield V Released
Battlefield V got a lot of negative reception with its first trailer. But, maybe the new information on the game’s battle royale mode is going to iron things out with the players.
The trailer that got so much hate on YouTube missed the mark when it came to marketing. It didn’t show the things it needed to show in order to build up hype for the game. Naturally, the players didn’t like that at all, so the trailer got a lot of hate. But, don’t write off the game just yet, as we just got the first details on the Battlefield V battle royale mode.
So, we know that the battle royale mode, called Firestorm, will support up to 64 players. There will be 16 squads of four players all competing on one giant map. As in similar battle royale titles, the point is to find good loot and weapons and then eliminate the opposition. The map is surrounded by flames, and the map constantly shrinks, making the battlefield smaller and the fights more frantic and intense. The Firestorm mode will feature objectives that give you weapons, vehicles, and supplies when you complete them.
The vehicles in this mode will be very useful, some for running away and others for crushing the enemy. For example, if you want the most firepower, you and your team need to find yourself a tank. Naturally, everyone will also be on the lookout for this war machine, so it won’t be easily obtainable. But, if you manage to hop into one you cause all kinds of havoc on the battlefield.
This Battlefield V battle royale mode doesn’t bring anything especially new to the table. But, we will still give it a spin once the game launches.
