In the most recent patches of Sniper Elite 4, there have been many changes that have affected the game with either additional content or fixes for issues. Along with these, came parts for the DLC known as Deathstorm and the first 2 parts of the three-part DLC have already been released.
Today, the final part of that DLC has become available via the newest patch, patch 1.5.0 and it takes place in Germany in the area of a tiny town called Steigerloch during the Second World War. In that town, the Germans have an ongoing secret nuclear project codenamed “Deathstorm” that could potentially change the planet as we know it. Plenty of suspicious activity has been recorded around the area which suggests that the Germans are planning something.
There’s a rumor that’s spreading through the town that there’s a secret facility underground that is filled with strong security hidden under the town’s hilltop church. An Elite Agent known as Karl Fairburne is responsible for finding out more about the facility. If the suspicions are right, he will draw all of his skills in order to demolish the facility along with every trace of the deadly Deathstorm.
Besides this, the patch brings a lot of more stuff to Sniper Elite such as Bunker and Facility which are playable multiplayer maps for those who own the game. They are playable in pretty much every multiplayer mode so the players that own the game can spend time enjoying their new maps in any mode. Along with these additions to the game, there were plenty of bugfixes and small peaks here and there which you can find out more about over at the official announcement.
