While its true that video game sales are very important to developers, as they revealed how many people bought their game and whether they can continue making games, etc., it’s not the only thing that matters at times. It’s these numbers that determine their fate and longevity. For Final Fantasy XIV, while the game started out rough in a way, it soon wowed millions.
And as such, the MMORPG has had several successful expansions, including the most recent one Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood. Thus, it’ll bring players much pleasure to know that the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival will be in Vegas next year in November.
The event will take place in the Rio All-Suite Casino from November 15th-17th. But also, it’ll be coming to Europe and Japan in 2019 at various dates, ensuring that the celebration can be done around the world. After all, the game is a worldwide success, so why not celebrate the fans everywhere?
As for what you can expect at these festivals, we think the video speaks for itself. This is an event where fans can show off their pride for Final Fantasy XIV, get into costume as their favorite characters, get some exclusive swag from the event itself, hear some live bands perform music from the game, and of course, get reveals and announcements from the team themselves.
It’s clearly going to be something special, which is why Square Enix no doubt is revealing this now, to help build up the hype for it.
