Far Cry 5 Video Shows Various Ways To Take Out An Outpost

When it comes to open-world games, one of the things that many players like is the variety that is offered. Not just in the activities and missions that they can do, but in how they can complete said activities and missions. If you prefer a run-and-gun style, you can do that, if you’re more of a stealth warrior, you can do that too. All that matters is that you can do it, and Far Cry 5 happily allows you to take on a mission the way you want.

IGN released a special preview for Far Cry 5, and in it, they take down an outpost of the Eden’s Gate cult called the Seed Ranch (named after their leader no doubt). But how they do it is three-fold. They use their dog and a bow and arrow. They use a sniper rifle. And then, they go guns blazing and just shoot anything that moves. You can watch it all here.

Through the video footage and the commentary, you’ll see how each way of getting things done has merit, which is the proof that this is truly a multi-optioned mission. Which will no doubt please many players, as options are important in a game like Far Cry 5.

The game itself is massive in scope, which will highlight the variety even more. The setting is Hope County, Montana, where a cult has taken over, and you’re brought in to help right the ship. The local townspeople have formed a resistance movement, and you must assist them in taking down Eden’s Gate. Just like you have variety in completing missions, you have variety in who helps you. There are pilots with gun planes, experienced hunters, and as mentioned above, a dog.

So ask yourselves, how will you complete the missions in the game? You’ll find out for yourselves when the game releases on March 27th.
