Far Cry 5 Getting Limited Edition Headset
Video gamers don’t just want the best video games and video game consoles/systems, they also want the best gear to go along with those games/systems. Ubisoft is getting ready to launch their next big title via Far Cry 5, and they’ve teamed up with Thrustmaster to make some very unique headsets for you to listen to the games on. These will be limited edition items, so you’ll definitely want to get them ordered soon rather than later. Here’s a small breakdown of them.
The two models will be the Y-360CPX and the Y-300CPX headsets, each of which will be decked out in Far Cry 5 colors and themes to truly tie itself to the games. Both headsets offer great sound quality as well as pristine communication via the microphone. This will no doubt be useful in-game as the game world is full of sounds, and you can do co-op with friends, and thus communication is vital.
The headsets will retail for $99.99 and $59.99 respectively.
This isn’t the only special items that Ubisoft is offering for Far Cry 5, in fact, there are many special editions that you can get that’ll offer some pretty cool items. Not the least of which is a statue of Father Joseph Seed, the main antagonist in the game. Not to mention you’ll get some in-game items depending on which special edition you get.
While all of these are cool, none can compare to the main game itself, Ubisoft has worked very hard to deliver a very special experience, and even delayed the game to ensure that the quality met their standards. Far Cry 5 puts you in Hope County, Montana, where a cult is trying to take over the area, but you are brought in to stop them. You’ll team up with a Resistance movement and try to take them down in any way you deem fit.
The game releases March 27th.
