The Fallout 76 beta is starting tomorrow for Xbox One players, while PC players have to wait for October 30th to play.
After more and more of information regarding Fallout 76 got released, we stopped hating the idea of it. Ok, so it is a Fallout game with no humans other than other players. It’s also always online and V.A.T.S. now functions in real-time. It basically isn’t a Fallout game anymore, but maybe it isn’t as bad as we thought. The available footage made us think that it wasn’t looking like that bad of a multiplayer shooter.
But, the fact remains that we want to play the game ourselves first and then make a decision. Unfortunately, as we only own a PC, we have to wait. Xbox One players, on the other hand, get to try Fallout 76 tomorrow. That’s right, a tweet from October 19th announced that you could preload the title then. That tweet also said the beta is commencing on October 23rd, which is basically today at the moment of the writing of this article.
The time at which the beta starts for Xbox One players seems odd. For the US Pacific, the time is from 4 PM – 8 PM. For the US Eastern players it’s 7 PM – 11 PM. Now, the UK players won’t be happy, as they can play the game from 12 midnight – 4 AM.
So, if you’re from the UK and you were looking forward to the Xbox One beta, you will need to stay up late in order to participate and try the game out.
