Fallout 4 Playable For Free On PC February 1st-4th
War. War never changes. These immortal words (often times spoken by Ron Perlman) are the trademark phrase of the Fallout series. The RPG juggernaut has had some of the deepest gameplay, unique takes on a post-apocalyptic world, and has taken away hundreds upon thousands of hours away from players lives. And you could say that for just one game, and there’s been five, plus DLC. The latest version of the franchise, Fallout 4, has been praised for years, and now, it’s about to get a special twist. It’s going to be free to play on PC for a weekend.
Bethesda made the announcement last week and even gave a free weekend to Xbox One Gold players, but now, it’s the PC players turn. If you haven’t tried out Fallout 4, and you want to play it on PC, then February 1st-4th is your chance.
“Forget dieting, or exercise, or any number of New Year’s resolutions you might’ve made. Instead, focus on the only one that matters: having more fun. And what’s more fun than playing a game – for free!” – says Bethesda’s Anne Lewis
But wait! That’s not all, if you want to take full advantage of this special weekend, then you need to know one more thing. The core Fallout 4 game, as well as any and all DLC out for it are 33-40% off this weekend. This includes the base game, the Game of the Year version, and the Automatron, Wasteland, Far Harbor, Contraptions, Vault-Tec, and Nuka World DLC packs. All will be discounted from February 1st-4th.
That’s an incredible amount of content not only on display, but discounted. Fallout 4 was truly massive in scope and value, and now you can experience it for yourself without having to pay a single dime at first. So if you’ve never gotten the chance to view the wasteland of this world, your chance is coming soon.
