Two of the highlights of this year’s E3 event were arguably announced by Bethesda, with the reveals of The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The two new entries in their respective series will be released on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, though there was no confirmation regarding their support from the Xbox One X.
Microsoft has addressed this by updating the game pages for both The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which confirmed that they will have support fro 4K Ultra HD and HDR for each game. This, according to Microsoft, means that with 4K Ultra HD, it can range from native 4K to dynamic 4K support, though its still unknown as to how this will apply to these two particular releases.
Both games will be highly anticipated in their respective fanbases, with the new Evil Within game looking at taking a less linear approach to the previous entry. As for Wolfenstein II, this continues one of the most captivating narratives that we’ve ever seen, a precedent which was set by Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Both Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus are set for release later this year on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
