Realistic grand strategies are hard to find today, especially good ones, those are very rare. But, the Europa Universalis franchise has been keeping a tab on this genre and it proves to players that complex strategies don’t necessarily need to be hard to figure out. They are fun, really engaging, super challenging, and they are not hard to get into, and the latest title in the series, Europa Universalis IV is getting a brand new expansion called Dharma. It is bringing government changes, a reworked policy system, Trade Company investments, new Indian mission trees, upgraded Trade Centers, the new Mughal Culture Bonus, and loads of other features.
Those of you that like engaging in warmongering activities in Europa Universalis IV will find that they won’t be getting anything special in this DLC, but those of you that like to resolve their conflicts in a more peaceful manner will get new options. Why go to war when you can sit down with the enemy leader and try to work something out without bloodshed. More trade actions will also be available to you in the Dharma DLC, so if you have an empire that focuses on trading, you’re going to have a lot of fun.
Players will even be able to reform their government in order to suit their current needs, and your policies can now be changed if your type of ruling gets different as time goes on. You can read more about these upcoming features on the game’s official site.
