There’s a lot of ways to have fun with the community behind video games. You can have them send in art of their favorite game characters, have them take videos or screenshots of their favorite moments or characters or battles in the game. Or, you can get really creative and find a way to let the community help make the game in a fun and clever way. And that’s exactly what Epic Games is doing with Fortnite. All you have to do is dance like no one’s business.
In the game, you have the ability to give your character a dance called an Emote when you achieve victory. Well, now, via a special contest called Boogiedown, you’ll actually have a chance to turn your own dance into an Emote within Fortnite! That’s right, your moves could be turned into virtual moves for all to see. All you have to do is make sure yours stands out.
What are the criteria? Well, you’ll just need to take a video of yourself doing your Emote Victory dance. Try and be original, try and be creative, and most importantly, have fun while you do it! You can read the full list of rules for the Boogiedown contest here.
If you’re wondering if you’ll have time to participate in this contest, don’t worry, the contest is on from now until April 10th, so you have over a week to make it happen. There are multiple ways to submit to the contest (full details on the rules page), and even if you don’t get the top prize, you can still win!
For 100 dancers will be rewarded for their submissions to the game with various prizes depending on their rank within the 100.
