Epic Games Considering Call Of Duty Mode For Fortnite
Since its arrival, Fortnite has been something that fans and critics have looked at curiously. It started out as one kind of game, then became something else entirely via the addition of its Battle Royale mode. After that, it began to grow into something so huge that some don’t understand why it’s become so big. Well, one of the reasons most people agree on is that Epic Games brings variety to the title via their limited time event modes. And now, a new one is being teased from an unexpected place.
On Reddit, a member suggests a mode that would feature a “gun game limited game mode in which everyone is dropping in with a pistol and with every kill your gun gets upgraded to something better.”
This is a mode that is known to players in Call of Duty. Which admittedly would be a good mood to put into Fortnite, right? Well, apparently, Epic Games agrees.
Well, a developer from Epic Games named “Dusty Devo” replied on the Reddit thread and stated:
“It’s totally on the list to try a progressive weapon load out LTM at some point. Would probably bring in the storm early to keep everyone together, flip on respawns so the game reliably ends when someone makes it through the weapon ladder.”
So there you go, it might be happening, with some changes based on the reply, but a form of it no doubt. This will be very exciting to players when it happens, and it’s a testament to Epic Games for continuing to help make their title feel fresh and fun.
Modes they have put out in the past include a 50v50 mode, a sniper only mode, and many more, and we wouldn’t be surprised if there were even more special modes coming in the near future.
