Fortnite publisher Epic Games has made it crystal clear that their priority is removing cheaters from the game. Making it their “highest priority,” Epic has so far banned thousands of players from the battle royale experience, which has seen them breaking the rules.
The publishers are consistently keeping their eye on cheaters and working against both them and cheat providers to stop them from ruining the game for everyone else. In order to combat this, they will be rolling out tools in the future to stop players from using any cheats, though it hasn’t been revealed as of yet to what they will actually be doing.
For now, Epic Games will be introducing account progression to the game, which will apparently deter players from cheating, and give them a lower incentive to do so. Playing the game through this will reward players as they go along, and is set to be launched sometime in the next few weeks. Epic stated that “For those persistent trolls, we’ll be continuing to work on solutions.”
Players who catch others cheating are urged to report them through the support website, and provide photos or videos as proof, which will hopefully help improve the overall experience for everybody who wishes to play honestly.
Good,very good…..
