Injustice 2 prides itself on a very deep roster of characters that have very different abilities and movesets. With the DLC of the game, via Fighter Packs, the roster has grown even deeper. This year will see the arrival of Fighter Pack 3, and with it comes the arrival of certain big name characters, as well as some more obscure ones. One of which is the Enchantress from DC Comics, a powerful sorceress who is willing to use her powers to get what she wants.
In the comics, Enchantress is portrayed one of two ways. She’s either a magical hero, or, a demon witch possessed woman, Injustice 2 plays up the later here, and it shows in her set of moves within the game. For as you’ll see, Enchantress uses her vast array of magic to bend both her opponent, and forces of nature, to her will, and it’s a deadly set of moves.
Enchantress can shoot spells at you, block your attacks with magic, trap you within a prism of magic, use mind control, freeze you in ice (then shatter you out), and even rip out your soul (presumably) to attack it, or control it. Further adding to her comic book roots, the Enchantress will sometimes even leave the body of June Moone (her host) to attack on her own before repossessing the woman.
All in all, this is a very intimidating character, and if the right player can gain full control of this moveset? They might be pretty hard to beat.
It’s not surprising that Enchantress is in Injustice 2 in some ways, she was part of the Suicide Squad film that came out in 2016, and her role in the comics has been increased because of it. The other members of Fighter Pack 3 are The Atom (Ryan Choi) and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
