Elsweyr Is An Excellent, But Short ESO Chapter
ESO: Elsweyr is a really good chapter, don’t get us wrong, but it could have included more content at launch.
Even though the Necromancer is an excellent class, you won’t buy Elsweyr just for one class, right? Then again, it has the Necromancer and dragons. Still, it probably is the most fun class in the game right now. Doesn’t even matter if you’re healing, tanking, or dealing damage, you will be juggling corpses and dark magic left and right while you’re throwing skulls at your foes.
But, why is Elsweyr a short chapter in our opinion? Well, once you start exploring the land of the Khajiits, you will notice that it isn’t as big as one might expect it to be. Main quests and side quests are plentiful, but you can finish the story of this expansion in two days without much issue. Of course, once you throw in grinding for items there, the play time increases considerably. It’s just sad, this is a quality expansion, we just wish there was more of it.
Then again, more free content and dungeons are coming later this year. That’s why we said the chapter as it is right now may not be worth the full price. On the other side, players that like things like houses will love a certain home that you get. Magical, captivating, and stylish as heck.
As far as dragons are concerned, the boss ones are brutal bosses. Rarely does a boss intimidate in an MMORPG these days, but some of these ones come with a terrifying aura. Add in the fact that you will get wiped out if your party does not know what’s it doing, which is always the case when an expansion is fresh.
ESO players will pick up the expansion, since it comes with everything they’re used to. New lands, new dungeons, new quests, new opponents. You can pick up a key over at HRKGame.com for a discounted price right now!
