ELEAGUE Coming to Rocket League

ELEAGUE are once again looking to expand after a number of successful tournaments in the likes of CS:GO and Overwatch. The partnership has now been formed between themselves and Psyonix, the developer of the indie-smash hit Rocket League.

This partnership will include a new ELEAGUE Cup: Rocket League, which will air on TBS as well as be streamed to Twitch and Youtube, as players compete in a $150,000 tournament. As well as being streamed on Twitch and YouTube, TBS will also be airing a three-part series of the cup competition, which will surround the teams, players and the competitions themselves. The first episode will go up on December 1st, and will be in a similar vein to the Dota 2 competition’s Road to the International.

GM of ELEAGUE and VP of esports at Turner Sports, Chistina Alejandre, commented: “Rocket League is such a fun and entertaining blend of creative vehicles and soccer. With competition at its core, it’s also a popular esports title that resonates with audiences of all ages. We’re very excited to feature this compelling game as we further expand our ELEAGUE portfolio and provide immersive content experiences across all platforms.”

Rocket League is now available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and soon to be on Nintendo Switch.
