Elder Scrolls Online took the beloved world that Bethesda and other studios had built and put it into an MMORPG setting. The game combines all the lands of the main games and allows players to explore them on their own individual quests. The MMORPG has grown constantly since launch, including adding the lands of Morrowind, the Clockwork City, and much more fun stuff for players to do. But now, with 2018 now here, developer Zenimax is ready to unveil what’s coming next for the game.
In a press release, the studio revealed the Dragon Bones DLC, which will bring two new dungeons to the title. Furthermore, they revealed Update 17 for Elder Scrolls Online. Both of these will be coming in February, and both will be adding more content to the game.
The Dragon Bones DLC Game Pack will be bringing you two dungeons in the forms of Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair. In these dungeons, you’ll face both familiar threats and all-new foes, and in the process, get some new items and gear for your character. The Dragon Bone DLC will be available for free to anyone who is an ESO Plus member.
Now, as for Update 17, this will be a free-for-everyone update, and will in fact release right alongside the Dragon Bones DLC. But the true joy of this update is some of the new features it brings. For example, there’s going to be an Outfit System. This will finally allow you to customize how your character looks in Elder Scrolls Online, and it doesn’t matter what you have equipped!
For those looking for a fight, the Orc Stronghold of Mor Khazgur and the Dwarven ruins of Deeping Drome will be two new battlegrounds put into the game for you to have fun in.
And that’s still only the tip of the iceberg for this update. So stay tuned, the release date for these content expansion will likely be coming soon.
