If you have been trying to play the likes of Battlefield 1 or Star Wars Battlefront II or any EA published game for that matter, then you may be out of luck. But fear not, the fault is not your own, as the EA servers appear to be down across the board.
A number of users of headed over to the Battlefield subreddit to ask the question of whether EA servers are down, which appears to be the case for Star Wars Battlefront II also. The issues were recently confirmed by the EA Help Twitter account, which stated that there were connectivity issues going on for their titles, and are looking into it.

Both Battlefield and Battlefront have been hitting the headlines as of late, with the information leak on Battlefield 2018, whilst Battlefront II has been swept up in a storm of controversy over microtransactions.
After the first update was posted on Twitter with info on the publisher being aware of the issues, they posted a second update to state that there are still problems occurring for their titles. By the time of writing this, hopefully all issues have been resolved and you can all get stuck back into your gaming escapades.
