EA has confirmed in their financial report that we will be getting a new Plants vs. Zombies title.
Plants vs. Zombies was one of the funniest, most enjoyable tower defense games we ever played. Charming, with an incredible art style, addicting and challenging combat, all kinds of content and minigames, the game was amazing. It’s quite sad that we never got a proper sequel on the PC. Other spin-off titles like Garden Warfare, Garden Warfare 2, and some mobile titles launched as well. Unfortunately, none of these captured the magic of the first title.
In their financial report, EA has confirmed that we would be getting a new Plants vs. Zombies game. What kind will it be, we don’t know. Let’s just hope it’s not another Garden Warfare game. Those were solid and all, but everyone would much rather get a proper sequel to the first game. Shooters are already swarming the industry again.
Have you ever played the first Plants vs. Zombies game? If you haven’t, we highly suggest that you go check it out right now. The game almost has no flaws, other than the combat which might get a bit repetitive if you play for long streches of time. But even that isn’t that big of a deal.
Defending our property by placing plants which shoot zombies is something that we dearly miss. That’s why EA better come up with a proper sequel for the first game. In all honesty, the way EA is right now, even if they make a Plants vs. Zombies 3 a tower defense game, they will find a way to ruin it with microtransactions.
