EA has announced the launch of the Global Series on the Road for the FIFA 18 eWorld Cup 2018. This landmark competition which will bring together competitors and spectators alike will be an expanded ecosystem between both EA and FIFA which will be increasing year on year, and will kick off on November 3rd. This will climax at the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 in August next year.

In partnership with FIFA, we’re accelerating the growth of competitive gaming through the EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series on The Road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018, producing more competition, attracting more competitors and connecting with more fans than ever before.”
The journey to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 will be multi-staged, and will see qualifiers based on the FIFA Ultimate Team Champions Weekend League, with live qualifying events taking place throughout the year. EA and FIFA will identify the top 128 competitors to see who will go through to the EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Global Series Playoffs, with the winner of the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018 being crowned the champion of the world.
FIFA 18 is now available on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
