Dragon Ball FighterZ Video Shows Off Hit
The Dragon Ball universe is full of very interesting and deep characters, ones that become fan-favorites for various reasons. It’s because of this that the Dragon Ball universe has had many games come out, including some showing off over 100+ characters. Well, the next game in the series is going to be Dragon Ball FighterZ, and now only will it bring the most accurate visuals a Dragon Ball game has ever had, it’s bringing in fighters who have never been seen in game form before via the newest anime series.
We speak of course of Dragon Ball Super, the newest official anime straight from the mind of creator Akira Toriyama. The anime has already had several sagas, and the current one, called the “Tournament Of Power” is the source of one of the next characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ, Hit.
Hit is a character from Universe 6, and is chosen not just for his power level, but for his owner, and his desire to only do what is required in order to obtain victory. Which is interesting, as he’s an assassin.
As for how he plays in Dragon Ball FighterZ, Ubisoft released a special in-depth video showing off some of his moves. As the hosts’ note, Hit is a very direct character, using only melee attacks a majority of the time. Even his “non-direct” moves have a melee aspect to them. Such as when he summons ice on the battlefield, if it touches a player, he instantly teleports to them and hits them.
What the video further proves is just how flashy and anime-like the game is. During some of Hit’s combos, you feel like you’re actually in the anime and not a video game. This is quite impressive, and it just makes us even more eager to get the game when it releases on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on January 26th.
