Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch Beta Detailed And Dated
Nintendo Switch gamers have been very patient in regards to waiting on certain titles to arrive. For example, from the moment Dragon Ball FighterZ was announced, they knew they wanted it on Switch, and given how the game looked and played, it would be very easy, more or less, to get it on the system. The team at Bandai Namco set forth a challenge, by Xenoverse 2 on Switch, and they might bring over FighterZ. Gamers rose up, bought that game, and now, FighterZ is coming to Switch in September.
However, not unlike the other versions of the game, Bandai Namco and Arc Systems want to test out the game before releasing it in full. So, a beta is going to go live, and we now know that it’s going to happen next week.
It’ll arrive on August 10th, and go until August 12th. What’s more, it’s going to be a pretty robust demo in terms of modes and characters.
Gematsu reports that the following characters will be in the game: Android 16, Android 18, Beerus, Captain Ginyu, Cell, Frieza, Gohan (Teen), Gohan (Adult), Goku (Super Saiyan), Goku (SSGSS), Goku Black, Gotenks, Hit, Kid Buu, Krillin, Majin Buu, Nappa, Piccolo, Tien,Trunks, Vegeta (Super Saiyan), Vegeta (SSGSS),and Yamcha.
This is far more characters than previous Dragon Ball FighterZ betas, and it’ll be a good way for gamers on the Switch to get involved more.
The beta will also feature these modes and schemes:
- “Extreme Type” Control Scheme (New Feature) – Switch between the standard and “Extreme Type” control schemes that allows you to unleash special moves with easy inputs. This can be changed at any time from the character select screen.
- Arena Match – Directly battle against players in the same lobby in one-versus-one matches on the arena.
- Replay Channel – Watch your replay videos. While watching, you can stick Z-Stamps wherever you like in the video.
- Circle Match – Create a circle in the lobby and recruit players to enjoy battles with players in that group.
- Circle Party Match – A battle mode where the six players recruited in a Circle Match all participate in the same battle.
