There have been a number of issues affecting the open beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ this weekend, so don’t panic if you have, as you’re not alone.
The servers for the game from Bandai Namco have gone live, but seems to have somewhat collapsed under the weight of all the players trying to access it. An error message states: : “failed to initialize network.”
There is an unstable server issue present, with players being unable to connect to online games. Meanwhile, there are other players stating that it is taking far too long for them to gain access to matches.
Not only that, but some players are even experiencing blue screen crashes after winning fights, which is bound to be a massive source of frustration. The open beta may have only just gone live, so surely issues were expected to occur. Having said that, Bandai Namco are yet to confirm anything publicly to address said issues.
The beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One. The full release of the game is expected later this month, so hopefully these issues are something that the developers will be able to figure out in time prior to release.
