Dragon Ball FighterZ Launches FighterZ Cup Event
Dragon Ball FighterZ has been hot since the word “go”, and since its launch it’s sold millions of copies and has been keeping gamers entertained for quite some time. And now, Bandai Namco has launched the next evolution of the game via a weekly tournament they’re calling the FighterZ Cup. This event was teased earlier in the month, and now, it’s gone live, and the team is eager for you to start it to claim your reward. And there are a ton of rewards.
The event itself was detailed on Twitter, where game producer Tomoko Hiroki talked about what the FighterZ Cup would involve:
“In the FighterZ Cup, Z Unions will battle against each other,” Hiroki said. “The FighterZ Cup event will be held for one week. During the first six days, all Unions will fight in league matches ranked Z1, Z2, and Z3. Unions will be able to obtain League Points depending on how well they do during this event.”
The more you fight and the more you win, the more points you will earn for your Z-Union, this will continue for the first six days of the tournament, and then, on the 7th day, the winners will be selected. Depending on how you did and how well your union did, you’ll get certain rewards, and like I noted previously, there are a ton of rewards, so you have a lot of reasons to try hard in the cup.
Hiroki noted that this first FighterZ Cup would act as a “test run” of sorts, which makes sense given Dragon Ball FighterZ hasn’t done this yet, not even in beta, so there may be some changes coming. But either way, the event will return, and is set to be a monthly thing for all players.
